Goals are an incredibly personal thing so it’s sort of hard to say that someone else’s goals are too high or too low. What would seem like an awful lot of money to one person might not seem like that much to someone else. So you’ll have to read this article and make it personal for yourself.

Most people tend to have a number in their head when they join a home based business. For some people it’s just enough to replace their current income from their job. For some people it’s $50,000 a year or for others it’s $100,000 a year or more. Cell Phone – If you are a business owner your cell phone is your best friend! Sure you could spend money on having a business line added to your home office but it’s much cheaper and easier just to use your cell for business. Obviously you’re going to need a good cell phone plan that includes long distance but it’s totally worth it. This way you can do business no matter where you are. You can literally make money while you’re on vacation or hanging out in the park! Also, make sure you get a plan that has good coverage so you’re not cutting out while trying to do business!

Laptop – When we were talking about a cell phone vs. a land line I told you the reason I love cells so much is because you can do business anywhere! The same is true for having a laptop vs. a desk top. You can do business sitting by the pool or in a coffee shop sipping a mocha (as a matter of fact I’m writing this article while I sip a delicious coffee myself!)

Internet access – The internet is hands down the best place to market your business. That’s because marketing online is free and you can reach way more people on the web than you ever could in the real world! Get some good internet access at home and for on the road a good wireless internet card is awesome!
